!!!TEDDY BEAR SPONGE CAKE!!!




Ingredients for TBS Cake:-
  • ·       Refined Flour (Maida): 1 cup
  • ·       Baking Powder: 1 Tea spn
  • ·       Salt: ¼ Tea spn
  • ·       Butter: 2 Mini butter packets (1 Mini packet is also okay who wants to reduce calories)
  • ·       Sugar: 5-6 Table Spns
  • ·       Eggs: 1 BIG or 2 Medium
  • ·       Milk: ¼ Cup
  • ·       Lemon peel: ½ Table spn finely grated (You can replace it with Orange peel in winter)
  • ·       Vanilla essence: 1 Tea spn
  • ·       Teddy Shaped Mould: 2
  • ·       Liquid chocolate/ Chocolate sauce/melted nutella: 1 Table Spoon

PROCESS:
1.Sieve  flour, baking powder and salt together very nicely. ( if you do not have sieve then you can just give them a good mix with a spoon )
In a bowl take 1 & 1/2 mini butter pack’s butter and liquefy it in a microwave within 1 minute.
2. While the butter is being melted you can grease the Teddy mould with the rest of the butter and sprinkle a little flour over that. Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius.
3. Now in a big container which will be now used to beat the liquid batter, take the melted butter. Beat it with a electric whisker for 1 minute.
4. Add powdered sugar to it. (Here we normally use powdered sugar but if you have normal sugar you can first measure the sugar then coarsely ground that) and again beat until it becomes a creamy texture.
5. Now add one egg and again beat for 2 minutes. (If you are using 2 medium eggs repeat this step after 2 minutes of beating the first egg)
6. Add the grated lemon peel, vanilla essence to it and again give it a good mix.
7. Now in this liquid batter slowly add the flour mixture and fold that in the liquid with a Table spoon. ( Do this step in 3-4 batches)
8. This time when you see that the mixture of the flour and liquid batter is becoming so sticky add the milk according to the consistency.
9. Now beat everything so well with the spoon until you get a creamy consistency like holding the spoon and its dropping like honey from the spoon.
10. At this step you give it a well stir with the electric whisker.
11. Pour the mixture in the moulds equally and set them in the oven for baking.
12. Baking time 30-35 minutes.
13. Bring it out of the oven and wait for 15-20 minutes as it’s so hot.
14. Use a knife to loosen the sides and invert it over a plate.
15. Now you can draw its eyes, smile with the liquid chocolate.

Simple Chicken Soup



INGREDIENTS FOR SCS:
   ·       Boneless Chicken: 400gms
   ·       Garlic: 3-4 pods (Finely Chopped)
   ·       Onion: 2 medium sized (Finely Chopped)
   ·       Olive oil: 2 Tbspn (You can use vegetable oil also)
   ·       Carrot: ½ cup finely chopped
   ·       Green Peas: 2/3 cup
   ·       Butter or Margarine: 1Tbspn
   ·       Green chilli: 2 chopped
   ·       Turmeric powder,red chilli powder and salt according to your wish.
   ·       Black pepper: 2 Tbspn full if you like it spicy otherwise according to your tastebuds tolerance.
   ·       Cornflour: 2Tbspn
PROCESS:
  1.   First cut the chicken pieces into small thin stripes and wash them thoroughly.
  2.   Mix ½ of the chicken pieces with the turmeric pwdr and chilli pwdr and little salt and cook them in a pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles to make the chicken stock. Filter the boiled chicken pieces from the stock.
  3.   Now, heat oil in a deep vessel. Then put garlic, onions, carrots and toss them for 5minutes so that the onion becomes translucent.
  4.   Then put the chicken pieces into the pan. (Both the raw chicken pieces and the boiled chicken pieces).
  5.   Stir for another 2 minutes.
  6.   Now, add black pepper and salt and mix it very well.
  7.   Then pour the chicken stock that you stored into the vessel and cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes with covered lid.
  8.   Meanwhile put the green peas into the vessel as well. (After pouring the stock we’ll toss the green peas so that it does not break).
  9.   In these 5 minutes you will make the cornflour solution i.e. 2 Tbspn cornflour with 4 Tbspn water.
  10.                     After 5 minutes add this solution to the soup and give it a stir to mix.
  11.                     Then adjust the salt as more water went in.
  12.                     After 2 minutes put out the flame and your Simple Chicken Soup is ready to serve.
  13.                     I used Fresh Cream for garnishing the soup but it’s optional.
       And yes if you are making this soup for children you can omit the green chillies and use less black pepper.
So try this healthy recipe at your home and it can be served with simple bread and butter or any type of bread you like.

GARLIC BUTTER NAAN AND CHICKEN BHARTA



 
INGREDIENTS FOR GBN:
·        Normal Flour _ 2 cups
·        ENO_1/2 T spn
·        Garlic_ finely chopped 1 Tbspn
·        Carrot_ coarsely chopped 1 Tbspn
·        Sugar_1 T spn
·        Salt_ 1 T spn
·        Butter according to your wish. Those who don’t want to use   butter can use white oil also or without oil also . then it will be only GARLIC NUN.
PROCESS:
·        Mix in the above ingredients and make a dough by putting some water according to your instinct.
·        Keep the dough covered for atleast 3-4 hours.
·        Make 1 ball equal to 2 balls of usual roti.
·        Then roll it into a small round  and  then stretch it with your hand from both sides if you want pear shaped nuns.
·        After that on a Tawa put that and after slightly roast then put butter and roast that.
INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN BHARTA:
·        Boneless Chicken_600gms
·        Onion_2 medium sizes
·        Tomato_1 medium
·        Green Chillies_2 coarsely chopped and 2 for garnishing
·        Tandoori Masala_ 2 Tb Spn
·        Boiled Eggs_2
·        Butter_1Tb spn
·        Ginger Garlic Paste_2Tb Spn
·        Turmeric Pwdr_ 1 T spn
·        Red chilli pwdr_ 2 T spn
·        Whole Jeera_ 1 Tbspn full
·        Coriander Pwdr_ 1Tb spn
·        Cumin Pwdr_ 1 Tb spn
·        Kashew paste_2 Tb spn
·        Garam Masala_2 T spn
·        Coriander leaves_ 3 sticks finely chopped
PROCESS:
·        Cut the boneless chicken in 1inch very thin stripes.
·        Marinate the boneless chicken with a lil turmeric,red chilli pwdr, cumin pwder, coriander pwder and a little salt for ½ an hour.
·        Pressure cook it for 2 to 3 whistles.
·        Keep the stock in a bowl. And separate the boiled chickens.
·        Heat oil. Temper it with whole jeera.
·        After slight change in jeera’s colour put the onions,tomatoes and green chillies together.
·        Fry it till it becomes transparent structure and tomatoes are absorbed.
·        Then give the powdered masalas 1 by 1 and salt except garam masala pwder.
·        Fry it on low flame till you can see the oils coming out of it.
·        Now give the boiled chickens into it.
·        After coating the chicken with the fried masala give the boiled egg’s yolk into it and break it.
·        At this point add some water.
·        Then give the butter and cashew paste into this.
·        And cover it for 5minutes on medium flame.
·        Now according to your wish adjust the consistency of the gravy and salt. I would prefer this with a little gravy.
·        After that sprinkle garam masala pwdr and chopped coriander leaves  and again cover it for 1-2 mins.
·        Then garnish this with cut egg whites.
